Jvari. The temple - monastery of Jvari is immortalized not only in history, but also in poetry - Mikhail Yuryevich Lermontov wrote about it in the poem "Mtsyri", admiring the beauty of the forms and the surrounding landscape. The name translated from Georgian means "cross". According to legend, Saint Nino of Cappadocia erected a cross in this place in honor of the adoption of Christianity by Iberia (the ancient name of the country).
Svetitskhoveli. A masterpiece of medieval Georgian architecture, Svetitskhoveli is the main Orthodox cathedral in Georgia. It is the main pilgrimage site on the Great Silk Road, the burial place of the Robe (Chiston) of Christ, the burial place of the Georgian kings and the most visited place in Georgia. Built in 1010-1029, it is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Samtavro Monastery is located in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region, in the city of Mtskheta. It is one of the most important cultural monuments. Saint Nino lived here, King Mirian and Queen Nana are buried here. Abibo Nekreseli, one of the Assyrian Fathers, is also buried in Samtavro Monastery. The complex includes several buildings: the main temple, the Church of St. Nino, a bell tower and a fence with a tower. The main church dates back to the 11th century, although the date of its construction is unknown. The small Church of St. Nino dates back to the 11th century, but it is known that the church was first built by King Mirian in the 4th century. This church is also mentioned in the life of St. Nino.
