Explore Georgia's Kazbegi-Ananuri-Gudauri mountains on a day trip to some of Georgia's most picturesque spots. This tour from Tbilisi takes you along the Georgian Military Highway to the mountainous region of Kazbegi.

We will visit:

  • Zhinvali Dam - is an artificial reservoir created on the Aragvi River in the early 1980s. This place attracts with its natural beauty and strategic importance. The reservoir is washed by picturesque mountains, and during your visit you will have the opportunity to enjoy stunning views.
  • Ananuri  - Ananuri - The Ananuri architectural complex is a stunning late medieval monument located in the picturesque gorge of the Aragvi River, along the Georgian Military Highway, about 74 km from Tbilisi and close to the stunning Zhinvali Reservoir. The complex, nestled against the backdrop of pristine landscapes, features a fortress, a bell tower, three churches, and intricately carved curtain walls. Notably, in 2007, Ananuri was included in the tentative list for UNESCO World Heritage Site consideration.
  • Gudauri -  The ski resort is located on the south-facing plateau of The Greater Caucasus Mountain Range in Georgia. The resort is situated in the Stepantsminda District, along the Georgian Military Highway near the Cross Pass, at an elevation of 2,200 meters, above sea level with skiable area enjoying maximum exposure to the sun.  
  • Monument or Treaty ( of Georgievsk Monument ) The Russia–Georgia Friendship Monument, also known as the Treaty of Georgievsk Monument, is a significant landmark situated along the Georgian Military Highway near the village of Gudauri in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region of Georgia. Erected in 1983 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Treaty of Georgievsk signed in 1783 between the Russian Empire and the Kingdom of Georgia, the monument stands as a testament to a pivotal moment in the shared history of the two nations.
  • Gergeti Trinity Church - Gergeti Trinity Church is the oldest was built in the 14th century by an unknown architect, and is the only cross-cupola church in Khevi province complex of buildings consists of the main church, bell tower, council building and ramparts.

Architecturally, the main church is a cross-domed church 18 m high, 15.6 m long and 12 m wide. It has a rectangular plan, the dome rests on two free-standing columns on the western side and the walls of the eastern apse.
