Day 1. Ananuri. Zhinvali. Gudauri. Kazbegi
Breakfast at the hotel.
The program starts at 08:30.
The first stop is the Ananuri Fortress, located on the shore of the Zhinvali Reservoir.
• Ananuri Fortress: This is a historical complex that includes an ancient church and fortress walls. The fortress was an important military outpost in the Middle Ages and is a fine example of Georgian architecture.
• Scenic Views: The fortress offers breathtaking views of the reservoir and surrounding mountains, making it a popular photo spot.
Zhinvali (Zhinvali Reservoir)
After visiting Ananuri Fortress, your tour will continue towards the Zhinvali Reservoir, which is an important water and electricity supply facility in Georgia.
Zhinvali Reservoir: This artificial reservoir is surrounded by high mountains and the views are simply incredible. You can stroll along the shore of the reservoir and enjoy the atmosphere of tranquility and natural beauty.
Zhinvali Dam: If you wish, you can stop for a while at the dam to take pictures of one of the largest bodies of water in the region.
Gudauri (Ski Resort)
After Zhinvali, you will head to Gudauri, a famous ski resort located at an altitude of about 2,200 meters above sea level.
• Gudauri: Gudauri is not only a winter resort, but also a great place to relax at any time of the year. In the summer months, you can also enjoy the scenery of the Caucasus Mountains, as well as spend time actively, for example, paragliding.
• Jvari Viewpoint: On the way to Gudauri, stop at the Jvari Pass Viewpoint (Friendship Arch), which offers a truly breathtaking view of the Caucasus Mountains and gorge, as well as the ski resort area itself.
Truso is one of the most picturesque and untouched natural places in Georgia. The gorge is located in the Kazbegi region, 20 kilometers from the village of Stepantsminda (Kazbegi). This place is known for its wild and pristine landscapes, where you can see both mountain rivers and high alpine meadows.
• Start of the hike (approximately 3 km): After arrival, you will start hiking along one of the most popular mountain trails in Georgia. This will be an unforgettable journey through picturesque alpine pastures, green meadows and among mountain peaks.
Hiking in Truso is not only an active pastime, but also an opportunity to enjoy mountain scenery, far from civilization.
Here you can see stone towers reminiscent of ancient outposts, and even Caucasian pastures where sheep and goats graze.
• Walk along the gorge: You will walk along the river, enjoying the silence, the sound of mountain streams and magnificent views of the snow-capped peaks of the Caucasus.
Trip to Stepantminda for overnight stay
Day 2. Stepantminda. Gveleti Waterfall. Juta. Tbilisi

Gveleti Waterfall is one of the most beautiful places in Georgia, which is a real natural wonder. To get to the waterfall, you will have a short but exciting walk along a picturesque gorge.
• Start of the hike: The walk to the waterfall will take about 1-1.5 hours one way (depending on your pace, 2 km of walking). You will walk along a mountain river, enjoy the fresh air, green meadows and incredible views of the Caucasus Mountains.
• Landscapes: Along the way, magnificent views of the surrounding peaks, pastures, mountain rivers and natural meadows will open up.
Gveleti Waterfall is one of the most picturesque in the region. The waterfall falls from a height of about 25 meters and is surrounded by greenery and rock formations, creating a completely unique atmosphere. Here you can enjoy not only nature, but also take amazing photos.
• Walk near the waterfall: After you get to the waterfall, you can make several stops for photos and rest. The water that falls from a height creates a unique atmosphere, especially on sunny days, when drops of water turn into a rainbow.
We go to Juta by jeep and there we will have a hike (2 km)
Your day will begin with a comfortable transfer from your hotel in Tbilisi towards the picturesque Juta gorge, located in the Kazbegi region (Northern Georgia). The driver and guide will meet you and you will go to this stunning corner of the Caucasus.
Juta is an alpine settlement located at an altitude of 2,200 meters above sea level, in the heart of the Caucasus Mountains. This place is known for its incredible landscapes, ancient stone towers and memorable views of the mountain peaks.
Juta is a real pearl for lovers of mountain walks. After arriving in Juta, you will start your hiking. The walk will not only be active, but also exciting due to the magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and alpine pastures.
• Start of the hike: You will start with an easy walk along a mountain trail that will take you through meadows and streams. High mountain pastures, crystal clear rivers and breathtaking views of the Caucasus peaks will create an unforgettable atmosphere.
Along the way, you will pass by the picturesque stone towers of Juta, which were built several centuries ago and were used as watchtowers. These towers give the region a unique historical and cultural flavor.
• Photo stop: At this point, you will make several stops to take pictures of the beautiful views and historical towers.
